"Meredith was born in a log cabin in 1952. She fought with Lewis and Clark for civil rights, in Paraguay. In 1977 she suggested to a then unknown film director that SPACE FARING FELLOWS VERSUS THE BAD GUYS was a bad title for his movie. She suggested shortening it ... to Star Wars. She has photographed Lincoln, Patton, Jackson, Obama and Elmo. She is personal friends with Anne Rice and whatnot..." 

Ok, none of that is true. When I mentioned to a great friend that I was having a bit of writer's block concerning my about section, I was given that gem, and it was too good not to use. 

I am actually a mother of 4 who loves having a camera in my hand. I can honestly say that I have photographed Anne Rice, Peter Straub, Train, and John Mayer... but those were purely as a fan and I did not get paid for it. 

I am located in Central NJ (aka the Jersey Shore) and cover all of NJ, most of NY, and can even be bribed to travel further. 

It makes me happy to capture moments that can be shared and relived for years to come.  I love seeing the beauty in everyday things, and sharing that with others. 

I started taking pictures as a child, and got my first real (as in, not a point and shoot) camera for my 11th birthday. That led to taking candid shots for yearbooks, and amassing my extensive collection of pictures that I am still using to embarrass friends and classmates of the past through the beauty of social networking.
